In Albania there are over 12 million olive trees, 1.5 million of which are between 1,000 and 3,000 years old. Already from this mapping of trees it is clear that oil, liquid gold, has always had a strategic importance in these parts. The main areas where oil is made in Albania are in the prefectures of Tirana, Vlora, Elbasan, and of course, Berat. Lovers of the prince of the Mediterranean diet know that October and November are the best months to buy Berat's new oil. You can buy the best oil directly from the producer and in the surroundings of Berat you will find Fabrika e vajit ullirit Xhema, Malasi, Gjozi Plant, Pieralisi Plant in Drobonik and Bujari Plant in Cukalat.
•A vegetarian menu is available upon request.
•Villages are on the hillsides, so join this tour means walking up and down the hill. We suggest this tour to customers who are able to climb and descend streets and stairs.
