Vlora Beaches Tour: visit Zvernec island

Vlora, a seaside town surrounded by a wonderful natural environment. Vlora beaches and the Soda Forest by off-road vehicle

You will meet at 9 on the Vlora seafront to comfortably take a seat on our vehicles. During the first part of the route, you will move along the old beach road (Plazh I vjeter), until you will reach the side of the Vlora beaches where the Ionian Sea ends and the Adriatic Sea begins. Here, right in front of the beach, the Soda Forest (Pylli I sodes) begins, a maritime pine forest that was once used for the processing of soda.

Scents of the Mediterranean scrub on the Zvernec island Back aboard our off-road vehicle, you will go back into the pine forest to smell the resin and brackish. Through the road that runs alongside the sand dunes, you will reach the Narta lagoon and the famous Zvernec island. You will pass on the wooden bridge that connects the island to the mainland, and you will go to visit the St. Mary Monastery, a medieval Byzantine church dating back to 1300 that UNESCO has included in the list of World Heritage Sites. After the monastery, you will spend about an hour to visit Zvernec island, acquiring interesting information on its vegetation and admiring the wonderful panoramas going towards the island of Sazan.At the end of the tour, lunch in a typical restaurant where you will taste the delicacies that the area has to offer based on fish and much more.

•Due the moderate amount of walking to reach the main attraction sites could be better to wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

•We suggest this tour to customers who are able to climb and descend streets and stairs.

•This tour is not suitable for customers in wheelchair. 

•In case of hot weather we suggest you to bring a cap with you.
