Full Description

Visit the city and the Peshkopia Museum.

Visiting the city we would have the opportunity to learn about the ancient history of the city as a center of "Orthodox bishops", but which became the center of the Islamic religion in 1600, and the historic center with its characteristic buildings, cobbled alleys, and the "bazaar" indicate a Balkan-Ottoman style city.

Visit the Peshkopia museum in its three pavilions, where all historical periods are discussed, there is the pavilion of archaeological discoveries, the pavilion of the Middle Ages, and of interest is the pavilion of ethnography of Dibra.

Visit the village of Kastriot

The first stop at the Kastriot family monument, in the Kastriot village, where we still have tribes related to the Skenderbeu period, such as Gjini, or Shini in the village of Brest who were Skenderbeu's bodyguards.

Walks and hikes in the Silk Canyon, Skanderbeg Castle, and the town headland:

Visit the Kastriots museum in Sinë

Breakfast with local foods, and a variety of products.

Visit the Kastrioti Museum in Sinë.

Together with the guide we will get to know the museum of the Kastriot family, the family tree, the stories, and the wars of Skanderbeg.

Departure for Peshkopi

Visit the Zerja farmhouse:

Visitors are introduced to the Dibra handmade noodles processing center.

Visitors can see and try the various products of this craft center.

Lunch at the Zerja farmhouse:

Traditional home cooking from the Zerja farmhouse is prepared by the hand of the hostess Dashja, who also cooks the Skënderbeu specialty.

Departure for the Illyrian castle of Uskana, in Grezhdan.

Visit to Uskana Castle in Grezhdan.

Grezhdan Castle was inhabited by the Illyrian tribe - Uskana and is thought to be the largest castle in the Balkans in terms of area. In the company of the Guide, visitors get to know the history and information of the Castle.

Departure from Uskana Castle in Grezhdan for Kircisht (optional visit to Banisht Spa)

* Option 1; Visit the Byzantine Orthodox Churches of Kircisht.

Together with the guide, we would learn about the history of the village of Kërcisht, which is a tourist village in Dibër, and where there are five Byzantine churches, which show a great influence of the Byzantine period. The churches have had healing properties for believers, and this was related to the sulfur springs found in this area and the hot springs of Macedonia's Banisht Baths, which were formerly used by churches.

The Church of San Dhimtri and Sant'Ilia is ruined by the frescoes but is still visited by Orthodox believers.

Return to Peshkopi, after 1.5 hours of walking to Kircisht


** Option 2; Visit the Banisht spa:

The visit will be optional and if accepted by the whole group, it will be needed to cross the Macedonian border.Visit the Banishti Whaling Museum Center, where the center representative tells the story.Then the visitors go to the Banisht seaside health center and visit the pavilions in the company of the center representative.
